JAKARTA, July 28, 2025 – Lion Air is expanding the opportunities for Umrah pilgrimage in 1447 H by offering 70 round-trip flights weekly (35 departures and 35 returns) from 10 cities in Indonesia to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Starting July 2025, pilgrims can depart directly from their hometowns with travel programs ranging from 9 to 16 days.

The journey to the Holy Land will be more comfortable using the latest generation aircraft, including the spacious wide-body Airbus A330 and the efficient Boeing 737. Throughout the flight, Lion Air crew members are ready to provide friendly and professional service, allowing pilgrims to travel with peace of mind and focus on their worship.

Facilities for pilgrims include 30 kg checked baggage allowance for 8 cities: Palembang, Batam, Solo, Surabaya, Jakarta, Medan Kualanamu, Padang, and Makassar. For Pekanbaru and Banda Aceh (due to aircraft type), the checked baggage allowance is 25 kg. All passengers also receive 7 kg cabin baggage allowance, 5 liters of Zamzam water, full meals, and snacks (inflight meals).

Lion Air advises prospective pilgrims to book through officially registered Umrah travel agencies that have partnered with Lion Air. Avoid unauthorized parties to prevent fraud.
