Support Sustainable and Eco-friendly Flights: Non-Cash Payment Terms at Lion Group

J A K A R T A, September 25, 2024– Lion Group announced the non-cashless flight payment for all domestic and international flights. Lion Group has adopted non-cash payment methods as a strategic step in supporting environmentally friendly movements.
The benefits of non-cash payment in the aviation industry in the context of the environment, including:
1. Reduction of Paper Waste, thus contribute to the reduction of waste and cutting of trees needed to produce money.
2. Energy Efficiency, thus reducing the time required for the payment process, and in turn, reducing the carbon footprint of operational activities.
3. Simplification of Process, to better manage and reduce the use of resources in the transaction process.
The benefits of buying/payment of Lion Group air ticket transactions for prospective passengers, namely reducing the risk of loss or theft of cash, facilitating access and transaction quickly and safely through various digital platforms, speed up transaction process, reduce the operational costs related to cash management, and provide more accurate transaction reports, provide flexibility and ease of making payments anywhere and anytime, especially when traveling abroad.
Ticket purchase process can be made through the following official channels: BookCabin App, Lion Group official website, ticketing office, Contact center (only serving text conversations/voices), travel agents (tour and travel). Type of non-cash payment methods available, consisting of: Debit Card, Credit Card, QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard), Payment Code, Payment Link, Travel Voucher published by the airline. Transfers between banks to the airline’s official account are valid only with the terms:
- Booking tickets for a large group of more than 10 people.
- Not for personal/personal.

2. Passengers can submit payment links through contact center for credit card or debit card transactions online if booking code is created in advance.

Step to avoid fraud, Lion Group reminds prospective passengers to be careful in making ticket purchases. Please note:

- Lion Group never contacts prospective passengers via voice call (phone) for ticket payment transactions or request personal information and financial data.
Lion Group reminds prospective passengers not to make payments to the personal account number of employees or other parties on behalf of employees and the name of the Lion Group airline.
