Efforts to maintain safety and comfort of passengers Lion Air Group Consistently Runs "The Process of Maintenance and Sterilization of the Entire Fleet"
For the Base Maintenance Batam Aero Technic, in one time Maintenance able to maintain 15 units consisting of wide body aircraft such as Airbus 330, a narrow body aircraft, such as Boeing 737, Airbus 320, ATR or Hawker, includes light work until heavy work, including full body painting, airplane cleaning, aircraft washing, aircraft interior maintenance, and other components.
Lion Air Group has implemented the following stages of work:
- Aircraft sterilization
To provide and spraying the use of disinfectant fluid with the applicable procedure, includes a cockpit room, lavatory, galley, baggage compartment, folding table on chair, seat back, chair head cover, window covers and cabin walls, carpets, cargo chambers at the bottom of the aircraft cabin and others.
- Air aircraft Hygiene and supporting equipment
Periodic improvement of air plane hygiene activities with Aircraft Exterior and Interior Cleaning (AEIC) method, such as washing and cleaning (wipe) fuselage. In addition, cleanliness is applied to supporting equipment such as aircraft driving vehicles (pushback car), (neoplane stairs entering the aircraft for passengers and cargo, freight and cargo vehicles.
- Aircraft component checking and maintenance
Comprehensive inspection and performance maintenance of all aircraft components, i.e. on engine (preservation engine), auxiliary power unit, navigation, communication equipment, in-flight entertainment (inflight entertainment), aircraft facilities and other related.
Lion Air Group conducts the process of checking the air circulation system in the cab, including HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter used as air circulation filter equipment. When doing the process, the officer has been given knowledge of safety and has conducted a health test.
- Backup Aircraft Check
Special care for the aircraft that is prepared as a standby, according to the requirements of the aircraft maker known as prolong inspection.
