Batam Aero Technic Obtains Certification from the Civil Aviation Authority of VietnamCAAV Recognition for BAT: Benefits for Airlines, Industry, and Regional Economic Growth
B A T A M, September 22, 2025 – Batam Aero Technic (BAT), an aircraft maintenance center (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul/MRO) located in Batam, Riau Islands, has achieved an important milestone with the issuance of Certificate of Approval No. VN-333NN/CAAV from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV). This certification authorizes BAT to perform heavy maintenance at its Batam Aero Technic hangar for medium-body aircraft Airbus A320 and Airbus A321, as well as wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft registered, operated, and listed in Vietnam.
BAT is now capable of carrying out work in compliance with the standards set by the Vietnamese regulator/government. This achievement demonstrates BAT’s ability and quality in meeting the highest international standards. BAT consistently provides aircraft maintenance services recognized by various global aviation authorities and remains committed to supporting safe, comfortable, and optimal air connectivity in the Asian region.
