Lion Air Group Flies to More Than 50 Leading Cities in 15 Countries. Seriousness in the Global Network: Facilitating Foreign Travel and Contributing to the Target of 7.4 Million Foreign Tourist Visits to Indonesia.
Optimistic, international routes continue to rebound. The optimism of the various initiations has reflected the evolution of travel restrictions imposed as part of the concept of renewal to accelerate economic improvement, develop the aviation industry and boost tourism activities.
J A K A R T A – January 23, 2023. The progressive relaxation (easing) of restrictions provides a much-needed impetus to the prospects of international travel. Lion Air Group predicts and is optimistic, from the second half of 2022 onwards, international routes show market opportunities with a very high growth rate.
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) in November 2022 announced that passenger traffic figures continued, increasing by 41.3% compared to November 2021. In the 2021 period, the total number of passengers has recorded by 47% from the 2019 period. That increased to 83% in 2022 and have forecast to be 94% in 2023, 103% in 2024, and 111% in 2025. An international movement is at 75.3% from November 2019 level. In 2021, the number of international passengers was 27%. Increase to 69% in 2022, projected to be 82% in 2023, 92% in 2024, and 101% in 2025.
