An Alternative and Flight Connectivity in West Java Lion Air Reoperates in Husein Sastranegara International Airport

B A N D U N G - August 14, 2020. Lion Air (JT flight code) member of Lion Air Group provides the latest information that effectively on Thursday (20/08) will start the domestic scheduled passenger service to and from Bandung via Husein Sastranegara International Airport (BDO).
For early stages, Lion Air plans to operate 8 (eight) flight frequencies each day go home (PP) in Bandung, serving 4 (four) domestic destinations, consisting of:
- Medan - Kualanamu International Airport, Deli Serdang, North Sumatera (KNO)
- Denpasar - I Gusti Ngurah Rai Intenational Airport, Badung, Bali (DPS)
- Balikpapan - Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan, East Kalimantan (BPN)
- Makassar - Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport, Maros, South Sulawesi (UPG)
Lion Air would like to thank the good cooperation and coordination from regulators, airport managers, air traffic controllers, all Lion Air employees, and related parties so that the integrity of Lion Air's operational plan in Bandung can run smoothly to provide the best service.
The availability of flight schedules is the main focus of Lion Air to answer passengers ' requests between destinations. Besides, it is expected to further complement the choice of direct or connecting flight using the appropriate departure time. Thus, the connectivity of West Java through Husein Sastranegara International Airport can be reached within a relatively short period, comfortable, safe, and affordable.

For the implementation of flight operations, each passenger must follow the recommendations of health Protocol guidelines.
- Arriving early at the departure terminal four (4) hours before departure.
- Show valid ID card (KTP or other ID),
- Wearing mask before the flight, while on the plane until landing and on arrival and exit from the airport,
- Wash your hands with soap or use a hand sanitizer,
- Following the secure distance rules (physical distancing) in the airport terminal,
- Maintaining cleanliness while onboard,
- Follow the flight crew directions.
- Fill out an electronic health alert card (e-HAC) that can be accessed (download) through the e-HAC Indonesia mobile application (Android) or http://sinkarkes.kemkes.go.id/ehac
To accommodate flight operation, Lion Air has prepared a new generation fleet of Boeing 737-800NG with 189 economy class.
This is Lion Air's seriousness to ensuring the health and safety of passengers, flight crew, technicians, ground handling officers, and other related employees, in carrying out flight operations which prioritizes safety as well as efforts to prevent Covid-19 spreading.
The improvement of the aircraft cleaning activities of Lion Air Group periodically with the Aircraft Exterior and Interior Cleaning (AEIC) method is run at the maintenance center of Batam Aero Technic (BAT) and in various base stations where the Lion Air aircraft is located.
In-flight Entertainment
To provide the best service to all passengers, in adapting the new normal era, to providing comfort during the flight for the passengers through in-flight entertainment in aircraft types of Boeing 737-800NG and Boeing 737-900ER.
An easy way to access Lion Air Entertainment, first, change the phone's settings to airplane mode or airplane mode. Secondly, change in the WiFi connection on the phone and select "Lion Entertainment" in Lion Air. After successful, you can enjoy Lion Air Group inflight entertainment.
All passengers can enjoy it for "free" without having to spend additional fees (extra). This entertainment is connected via wireless inflight Entertainment (W-IFE) from AirFi (PT Dua Surya Dinamika) accessed from all smartphones, tablets, laptops with the operating system software that manages resources such as iOS, Android, Windows, BBM, Linux, and others.
Passengers will be pampered through available content such as various movies, playing games, reading magazines, and much more. For this period, the most interesting thing was watching films for free from genres such as Indonesia, Hollywood, and Korean films.
Passengers can enjoy entertainment comfortably and securely through in-flight entertainment that can be accessed through their gadgets. It was an attempt by Lion Air to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
