Lion Air Ready to Connect Bandung and Pontianak

Bandung, February 24, 2017 - To continue to expand the network connectivity of Lion Air flights from Bandung through Husein Sastranegara International Airport, as of March 1, 2017 Lion Air, which is an airlines under Lion Air Group together with Batik Air and Wings Air, will open a new route for flights to international airport Supadio, Pontianak, West Kalimantan.
Lion Air’s flight from Bandung to Pontianak and return will be serviced once a day with the following schedule,
JT 828 // BANDUNG (STD 19:55) - PONTIANAK (STA 21:25)
JT 829 // PONTIANAK (STD 07:20) - BANDUNG (STA 8:50)
With the addition of this new service, we continue to add the destination choices for people to fly to the island of Borneo, since before Lion Air also flew to South Kalimantan through the city of Banjarmasin and Balikpapan in East Kalimantan through Bandung.
"We hope this opening access will further increase the choice for people flying and of course make it easier for customers to do their air travel along with our airline," said Edward Sirait, President Director of Lion Air Group.
Edward added that with the connection of Bandung with the West Kalimantan capital would be stimulating the industrial growth economy, and also has the potential to bring both domestic and foreign travelers because of the access to and from Bandung and Pontianak is quite open.
