Morotai Is Now Connected to Labuha, Ambon, Manado, Makassar, Surabaya, Jakarta, and Other Cities Wings Air and the Government of Morotai Island Regency Strengthen Air Connectivity Across North Maluku
M O R O T A I, 16 July 2026 – Wings Air, in collaboration with the Government of Morotai Island Regency, is enhancing air transportation access through the operation of the Pitu Airport, Morotai (OTI) – Sultan Babullah Airport, Ternate (TTE) route. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to improving community mobility, strengthening regional connectivity, and supporting economic growth and tourism development on Morotai Island.
This collaboration underscores the importance of synergy between local governments and airlines in providing air transportation services that meet the needs of the community. With improved air access, Morotai has greater opportunities to develop as a center for economic activity, trade, investment, and tourism in Eastern Indonesia.
