MEDAN, 23 June 2026 – Good news for those planning to perform Umrah. Lion Air has resumed its Umrah services for the 1448 Hijri / 2026 season through a non-stop route from Kualanamu International Airport, Medan (KNO) to Jeddah (JED), Saudi Arabia.

Lion Air operates these flights using the wide-body Airbus A330, accommodating up to 436 Economy Class passengersand designed to provide comfort on long-haul journeys. Spacious cabins, ample overhead storage, and professional cabin crew services are part of Lion Air’s commitment to delivering a better travel experience for pilgrims.

The direct Umrah flights from Kualanamu are expected to serve pilgrims from various regions, including Medan, Deli Serdang, Binjai, Tebing Tinggi, Pematangsiantar, Sibolga, Gunungsitoli, and other cities across North Sumatra. In addition, the service offers greater convenience for pilgrims from Banda Aceh, Lhokseumawe, Simeulue, Nagan Raya, Takengon, and other areas throughout Aceh Province, as well as travelers from Pekanbaru, Jambi, and other cities across Sumatra.
