P A D A N G, July 11, 2025 — Lion Air officially announces the launch of direct (non-stop) Umrah flight services from Minangkabau International Airport, Padang (PDG) to King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah (JED), Saudi Arabia, starting July 14, 2025, specifically for Umrah pilgrims.

The flights will operate twice a week, using wide-body Airbus A330-300CEO and Airbus A330-900NEO aircraft, each with a 436-seat economy class capacity, designed to offer maximum comfort for long-haul travel.

✈️ Inaugural Flight Schedule:

1. July 14, 2025

• 12-Day Umrah Program
• Departure from Padang at 12:05 PM WIB
• Arrival in Jeddah at 5:25 PM local time

2. July 16, 2025

• 13-Day Umrah Program
• Departure from Padang at 3:10 PM WIB
• Arrival in Jeddah at 8:30 PM local time

Baggage Allowance:

• 30 kg checked baggage
• 7 kg cabin baggage
• 5 liters of Zamzam water provided to each pilgrim upon return

This service is part of Lion Air’s ongoing commitment to improving Umrah accessibility for the people of West Sumatra and surrounding regions, eliminating the need for transits through other cities, thus saving time and making the journey more efficient and comfortable.
