Lion Air Supports Smooth Operations of 2025 Embarkasi Haji Antara (EHA) and Feeder Flights in Indonesia with a Total of 61 Flights

JAKARTA, May 3, 2025 — Lion Air has announced its full readiness to support the smooth execution of the 1446 Hijri/2025 Hajj pilgrimage through its Embarkasi Haji Antara (EHA) and Hajj Feeder flights, serving a total of 10,140 pilgrims from various regions across Indonesia.
The flights are operated using Boeing 737-900ER aircraft (215 economy class seats) and Boeing 737-800NG (189 economy class seats). All aircraft have undergone scheduled maintenance and thorough inspections, ensuring they are flight-worthy and comply with current safety standards and operational procedures.
Lion Air prioritizes comfort and friendly services, especially for elderly pilgrims and those with disabilities, in line with this year’s Hajj theme of inclusivity and accessible services.

1. Embarkasi Haji Antara (EHA) — Direct Flights on Departure Day Pilgrims fly from their hometowns to the main embarkation point, with airport transit times of up to 6 hours before continuing their journey to Saudi Arabia.
