Lion Air Serves Hajj Flights from 23 International Embarkation Points Abroad (Asia, Middle East, and Africa)
JEDDAH, April 28, 2025 — Lion Air strengthens its commitment to facilitating the 1446 Hijri / 2025 Hajj pilgrimage through a strategic partnership with the international airline Flynas (Saudi Arabia). This year, Lion Air has been entrusted to operate Hajj flight services from 23 international embarkation points across Asia, Africa, and surrounding regions.
In executing this operation, Lion Air prioritizes strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), in accordance with international aviation regulations of each pilgrim's country of origin, to ensure the safety, comfort, and smoothness of the entire journey to the Holy Land.
This service is supported by seven wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft, with operations scheduled from April 28 to July 10, 2025. Lion Air will serve a total of 136,529 Hajj pilgrims from 13 countries through 23 airports/embarkation points, with the following details:
