K U A L A N A M U – February 1, 2023. Lion Air (JT Flight Code) member of Lion Air Group from Wednesday (01/02) inaugurated flying back from the main hub of Kualanamu International Airport in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra (KNO) with the destination city of Banda Aceh, the capital of Aceh Province through Sultan Iskandar Muda International Airport, Aceh Besar (BTJ).  Frequency of flying 14 times a week round trip (PP) to serve domestic scheduled passengers (regular flight).

    For example, Banda Aceh (BTJ) to Jayapura (DJJ) is 3,181.23 miles or 5,119.55 kilometers can now be reached faster with the ease of transit flights namely Kualanamu - Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta, details of the duration of flying from Banda Aceh - Kualanamu (55 minutes); Kualanamu – Jakarta (2 hours) and Jakarta – Jayapura (5 hours 10 minutes).

The entire Lion Air fleet is equipped with High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters or strong particle filtration. HEPA filters help keep the air in the cabin clean and filter more than 99.9% of viruses, germs, insects and bacteria. The air in the aircraft cabin is updated every 2-3 minutes, making it fresher. The air cycle from the lavatory and galley is directly flowed outside the aircraft.
