Launching Direct Trading Ecosystem, Pos Indonesia Group and Lion Air Group Make It Easier for UMKM Players

Jakarta, 28 December 2022 – Pos Indonesia Group continues to play a role in accelerating the growth of the national logistics industry. This time, Pos Indonesia Group, through its subsidiary Pos Logistik Indonesia collaborated with Lion Air Group in a collaboration called the Direct Trading Ecosystem. This program will focus on shipping and distributing products from farmers, breeders, fishermen, and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to consumers. The commitment of the three companies realizes through signing the cooperation agreement between Pos Indonesia Group, Pos Logistik Indonesia, and Lion Air Group in Jakarta on Wednesday (28/12).

President Director of Pos Indonesia Group, Faizal Rochmad Djoemadi, said that this collaboration was carried out to accelerate the logistics distribution process of business actors in Indonesia and is one of the efforts to support national economic stability.

"The Direct Trading Ecosystem concept is a merger of the delivery system owned by Pos Logistik Indonesia, which is reliable on land routes, and Lion Air Group, which specializes in air routes so that the distribution of products to consumers will be more effective and efficient. That can help create national economic stability," Faizal said.

The Direct Trading ecosystem is a collaboration that combines several things from the Pos Indonesia Group delivery system with Lion Air Group, including flight routes (port to port), airport operations, and the post-to-post network.

Meanwhile, the same thing also expresses by Lion Air Group, which is enthusiastic about collaboration that makes it easier for Indonesian business people.

"This collaboration with Pos Indonesia Group and Pos Logistik Indonesia utilizes the capabilities of each company in facilitating the flow of goods from the agricultural, marine, livestock, and UMKM sectors. So that it has expected to improve community welfare as product competitiveness in regional and global markets," said President Director of Lion Air Group, Capt Daniel Putut Kuncoro Adi.

Pos Logistik Indonesia has a joint commitment with Lion Air Group and Pos Indonesia Group by prioritizing benefits for the community. Planning, arranging the storage, and delivery of goods, an effort to maintain the quality of products or goods from agriculture, marine, livestock, and MSMEs until they are in the hands of consumers.

"We will continue to make breakthroughs and improvements through superior business models to achieve a high level of performance in the logistics sector to achieve market needs and economic value and become part of the national and international logistics system," explained Ardian.

The program has integrated with Pos Indonesia Group's digital courier service, Pos Aja! Not just sending lifeless products, but can help businesses market live fish that can ship between islands.

"As we know, Indonesia has an infinite variety of ornamental fish. With the Fish Hotel in this program, people do not need to worry about sending their products (fish) to consumers alive because there is reoxygenation during transit.
