Wings Air (flight code IW) member of Lion Air Group, announced that it would fly to Boven Digoel Regency for Tanah Merah destination city through Tanah Merah Airport, South Papua (TMH). Wings Air connects directly with Jayapura through Sentani Airport in Papua (DJJ) and other cities.

Currently, Wings Air is preparing complete documents and operations. Wings Air always strengthens flight safety and comfort by operating new aircraft with modern technology types ATR 72-600 or ATR 72-500 as ground service equipment and constantly improving the skills of a flight crew, technicians, flight operation officers ( FOO), and ground service officers (ground staff). 

Wings Air would like to thank the Boven Digoel Regency Government, the Papua, and South Papua Provincial Governments, the central government (regulator), the manager of Tanah Merah Airport, the manager of Sentani Airport - PT Angkasa Pura I, the air traffic controller - AirNav Indonesia, as well as related parties in preparing and contributing to the smooth running of air travel for passengers.

Wings Air is optimistic that flight operations and services to and from Tanah Merah Airport will improve the smooth running of air transportation. More value for people, tourists, and business people will be more:

1. Shorten the distance between destinations

The expansion of flight routes through Tanah Merah provides connecting flights to various cities, increasingly becoming one of the transformations in favor of the environment and community welfare in the long term.

Interconnect from and to Jakarta–Soekarno-Hatta, Makassar, Manokwari, Merauke, Sorong, Dekai, Kaimana, Nabire, Timika, Wamena, and other cities.
