Efforts to support the successful implementation of the G20 Summit

B A L I – November 09, 2022. Lion Air Group through its affiliate airlines (airlines), conveyed the latest developments regarding operational adjustments and flight services for domestic routes: from and to Denpasar I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Badung, Bali (DPS) air travel period 13 – 17 November 2022.

Adjustment or change of flight schedule to support the concatenation of activities holding the G20 Indonesia Presidency Summit. This step has based on Circular (SE) Number 12 of 2022 concerning Aviation Operational Arrangements during the 2022 G20 Indonesia Presidency Summit at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali, from the Ministry of Transportation through the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. SE regulates that operating hours has set for 24 hours, and commercial flights are prohibited from parking overnight (Remain Over Night / RON). Implementation on 12-18 November 2022 at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. The enforcement of limited operation for regular flights will take effect on November 13-17, 2022.

According to the provisions of the regulation, it remains to ensure that the regular flight service schedule (scheduled passengers) runs (operates) with a certain number of flying frequency movements following the operational declination of the airport specifically for commercial flights.

1. Lion Air Group appeals to prospective passengers (people, business people, and tourists) to rearrange air travel plans to and from Bali through direct and connected flights (via transit).
2. If there is an adjustment to the latest flight schedule during the period, Lion Air will provide information to prospective passengers. Please ensure the active phone number and e-mail address according to the prospective departing passengers.
   

• Prospective passengers will receive a notification via e-mail or SMS / WA that is registered/entered when purchasing tickets. If prospective passenger does not agree to the latest schedule, they can rearrange the flight schedule by accessing the link on the e-mail notification sent by Lion Air Group.
• Prospective passengers who purchase flight tickets through travel agents (tour and travel), online travel agents, or online (OTA) can contact the relevant travel agent and Lion Air Group customer service.
• If you want to make a schedule change, you can contact the Lion Air Group travel agent or contact center by utilizing the live chat service through the official Lion Air Group website.

3. If the prospective passenger agrees with the latest flight schedule, please pay attention to the scheduled flight.

• Have fulfilled the requirements for air travel according to the latest rules or regulations set by the destination city.
• Arrive at the departure airport early (on average 2-3 hours before the scheduled flight).
• Carry out self-reporting (online check-in)
• The check-in system at the airport closes 30 minutes before domestic departure and 40 minutes before international flights.
• The boarding gate system closes 10 minutes before departure.

It aims to ensure or prioritize the process of implementing service arrangements and flight operations for guests (each passenger) running smoothly, orderly, and safely (safety first).
