Wings Air Flies Back to BANYUWANGI Serving Scheduled Flights Directly from SURABAYA and Connected to Other Destination Cities

S I D O A R J O – September 26, 2022. Wings Air (flight code IW) member of Lion Air Group starting, on October 7, 2022, will serve domestic scheduled passenger flights (re-operate) connecting Banyuwangi via Banyuwangi International Airport, Blimbingsari (BWX) from the International Airport Juanda Surabaya in Sidoardo (SUB).

In accommodating the need for air transportation services, in the early stages, Wings Air flight scheduled will be served every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday or 3 (three) times a week, as follows:

  • Surabaya (SUB) – Banyuwangi (BWX)
    Flight number IW-1880 departed at 09.55 WIB and have scheduled to arrive at 10.45 WIB.

  • Banyuwangi (BWX) – Surabaya (SUB)
    Flight number IW-1881 departed at 11.05 WIB and have scheduled to arrive at 11.55 WIB

The travel time between the destinations is around 50 minutes, where there's no time difference between the two destination cities, namely using Western Indonesia Time (WIB).

The Wings Air Surabaya - Banyuwangi - Surabaya route has expected to create connectivity of people and goods intra-East Java, to get added value in mobilization faster and shorten the distance.
