The ease of transportation access through the airport that connects one region in North Kalimantan (intra-Kaltara) hopes to be more:

  1. Accelerate the passage or access between denominations.
  2. Shorten the travel time.
  3. Contributing to increasing business opportunities, the tourism sector arouses the interest of domestic and foreign tourists to visit and contribute to other industrial fields.
  4. Support district-level connectivity and offer the convenience of continuing flights to other cities such as Balikpapan, Berau, Palangkaraya, Makassar, Palu, Samarinda, Surabaya, Jakarta, Semarang, Bandung, Jakarta, and other destination cities.
  5. Help develop potential in the regions as new economic growth centers in line with the regional economic recovery process.

Wings Air would like to thank you for the support, and synergy of the central government, local government, airport managers, and air traffic controllers in helping the smooth passage of passengers who meet the factors of safety, security, and comfort.

Fly Comfortably: ATR 72 Aircraft

Wings Air operates ATR 72-600 and ATR 72-500 aircraft imported directly from the manufacturer. ATR (Aerei da Trasporto Regionale or Avions de transport régional) is a Franco-Italian aircraft company.

The aircraft offers advantages for every passenger, including:

1. Seating capacity 72 economy class, configuration or layout 2-2.

2. The comfort level is more pronounced during the flight because it has equipped with a more futuristic designed interior, can relax when in the cabin, can work, or enjoy the trip by looking at the scenery because the plane can fly low.

3. Fresh air quality is continuously supplied by a high level of cabin air volume renewal. So that the air cycle is guaranteed to be clean, the aerial in the cabin will constantly update within 5 to 7 minutes to ensure the air in the passenger area remains fresh.

The airflow from above (the cabin ceiling) moves one way down (floor), which minimizes the movement of air forward and rear directions in the cabin (blown transversely and vertically).

4. To minimize overcrowding, the process of entering and exiting passengers from the aircraft sequentially. On an ATR aircraft, up and down from the rear door. This matter will minimize face-to-face interactions between passengers. The galley located at the rear also minimizes face-to-face interaction between passengers and cabin crew.

5. ATR 72 is a technologically advanced aircraft in its class and is designed to serve short-haul flights up to the sub-district level.

Wings Air has increased the sterilization phase of the entire fleet. The aircraft cleaning process carries out by a team of technicians and aircraft interior exterior cleaning (AIEC), including Aircraft Interior Cleaning (cleaning the inside of the airplane) and Aircraft Exterior Cleaning (cleaning the outside of the aircraft).
