Fun Flying: Enjoying Food at 35,000 feet Lion Air Presents a Selection of Favorite Dishes with Typical Indonesian Flavors

An efforts to create an air travel experience are more impressive. In the next stage, the type of Food and the frequency of menu rotation will continue to be improved to offer each passenger a variety of flavors or variations.

 

J A K A R T A – July 19, 2022. Lion Air (JT flight code) member of Lion Air Group announced the latest service for ordering Food and beverages before departure (pre-book meals) for food dishes on Lion Air network flights. This offer is to help passengers enjoy in-flight meals for categories more than 2 (two) hours of travel time. The best price for pre-book meals is IDR 40,000, including 240 ml of mineral water, chili sauce (chili sauce), and cutlery sets.

Terms and Conditions

The public, tourists, and business people (travelers) can choose Food through the official website www.lionair.co.id or the Lion Air mobile app:

  1. Starting from two weeks before the trip to 24 hours before departure, or carried out simultaneously with ticket reservations (reservations) or after booking tickets. 
  2. The type of inflight meals ordered will list on the boarding pass according to the route. While on the plane, it can be confirmed with the cabin crew to enjoy the meal.
  3. Orders that had conducted can be exchanged for other menus worth if the order is damaged or other things that cause the order of the inflight meal to be inappropriate.
  4. Meals ordered cannot be canceled, transferred, or exchanged after placing an order.
  5. Any force majeure is beyond lion air's ability, which causes Food not to be received by passengers, then Lion Air is not obligated to reimburse.
  6. Reimbursement for inflight meals will refund in the event of unilateral flight cancellation by Lion Air.
  7. Cancellation of orders cannot be made if there is a change in the schedule at the passenger's request (re-schedule or the passenger does not follow the flight/any show).
  8. Food servings may vary. Images are for illustration purposes only. 

This selection of dishes is in collaboration with Lion Boga, an inflight food and beverage (catering) company and a member of Lion Air Group.

The entire menu had inspired by Indonesian cuisine, which has been designed and processed for passenger satisfaction, prepared with halal and hygienic processes for the reasons of Food safety and health so that it can be handpicked and enjoyed above an altitude of 35,000 feet for each passenger.
