J A K A R T A - July 16, 2022. Lion Air Group provides City Check-in services to make it easier for prospective passengers to prepare flight plans. Lion Air Group continues to develop new flight products in line with its commitment to providing a fast and convenient way to check in and aims to keep every passenger (guest) safe when traveling by plane.

The benefits obtained by prospective passengers through the ease of city check-in include:

  1. Simple, without the need to queue at the airport check-in counter area.
  2. Valid for direct flights and connecting tickets using Lion Air Group airlines.
  3. City Check-in service is available 24 hours at Lion Air Tower Jakarta and for other sales offices according to operating hours.
  4. Free seat selection (as long as seat supplies are available) at no additional cost
  5. Purchasing additional baggage quota (prepaid baggage) maximum 30kg per passenger special discount up to 35%. 
  6. City Check-in applies to prospective passengers who will take priority flights without baggage. If the prospective passenger brings baggage, then at the departure terminal, they must report the baggage back at the check-in counter.

 

Conditions for conducting the City Check-in process:

  1. Passengers have prepared all health requirements according to applicable regulations
  2. Prepare documents such as official identity (KTP, passport) and others that are required or needed.
  3. Passengers are allowed to bring cabin baggage consisting of 1 (one) personal item with a maximum weight of 7kg. The size for jet aircraft baggage is 40cm x 30cm x 20cm, and propeller aircraft baggage (propeller) 35cm x 30cm x 20 cm. If you carry checked baggage, you must still report your baggage at the check-in counter.
  4. City check-in is open 24 hours to 4 (four) hours before departure time.
  5. Passengers who already have a boarding pass and do not carry checked baggage can go directly to the boarding gate without having to print the boarding pass back at the airport.
  6. Passengers must be in the waiting room/boarding gate 40 minutes before departure time according to the schedule stated on the boarding pass.
  7. Please reconfirm to the service officer at the boarding gate regarding the actual number of the waiting room (boarding gate), according to the flight number and schedule.
  8. If there is a change in scheduled flight by the airline, the passenger must check the latest declination on the website and report back at the check-in counter of the departure terminal.
  9. City Check-in can be represented by bringing a valid and valid identity for prospective passengers and the ID card of the party who helps to carry out the City Check-in process.

The check-in process is faster practical steps are as follows: 

  1. Open the Mobile Apps and select the Online Check-in menu
  2. Enter the booking reference number (PNR) on the ticket consisting of 6 (six) characters, namely six capital letters, and the last name of the guest who will be flying.
  3. Understand the luggage that meets the aspects of flight safety provisions (whether classified as dangerous goods or not).
  4. Select "continue" for the check-in process by selecting the flight and guest name according to the ticket that will follow the flight (click to put a checkmark in the column).
  5. The check-in process is complete.

Mobile check-in and city check-in services are not available for:

  1. Guests with the number of passengers in one ticket more than ten people (group booking)
  2. Guests who need special assistance at the airport, for example, pregnant passengers, Unaccompanied Minor (UM), or children under 12 years old who are traveling alone, require a wheelchair, stretcher case, or another special handling.
  3. Category of infants under two years old who do not occupy a seat
