Latest Flight Information: Mandatory Passenger Requirements on Lion Air Group Domestic Air Travel Period: April 05, 2022 – Further Notice Last Updated April 04, 2022 | 6:00 p.m.

J A K A R T A – April 04, 2022. Lion Air (JT flight code), Wings Air (IW flight code), Batik Air (ID flight code) members of Lion Air Group convey the latest information regarding the terms and conditions required for each prospective passenger who will travel domestic air travel (flights) during the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic alert period, valid period: April 05, 2022, until further notice (until further notice / UFN).

Lion Air Group constantly implements the provisions as enacted to support government programs during the Covid-19 pandemic alert period.

The entire implementation of Lion Air Group's flight operations continues to prioritize safety and security and carry out according to strict health protocol guidelines.

In carrying out operations, Lion Air Group ensures the health of aircraft personnel and ground staff on duty are in a circumstance that meets health qualifications.

During the enactment of Circular Letter Number 36 of 2022, the determination of aircraft load factor can carry out 100%. 

Improvements in cleaning and sterilizing Lion Air Group aircraft regularly using the Aircraft Exterior and Interior Cleaning (AEIC) method carry out at the Batam Aero Technic (BAT) aircraft maintenance center and various airports bases (base stations).

The entire Lion Air fleet has equipped with a High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter or strong particle filtration. HEPA filters help maintain the cleanliness of the air in the cabin and filter out more than 99.9% of viruses, germs, insects, and bacteria. The air inside the aircraft cabin is updated every 2-3 minutes, making it fresher. Air Travel Advice

1. Prepare and fulfill health documents according to applicable requirements.

2. Arrive early at the departure airport to minimize queues.

3. Inform officers on the ground if pregnant, sick, or have special conditions that can endanger themselves and interfere with the comfort of other passengers when traveling.

4. Download Lion Air mobile apps and Batik Air by utilizing the online check-in feature.

a) For passengers without carrying checked baggage can go directly to the waiting room.

b) For passengers with checked baggage, it has required to report to the Lion Air Group check-in counter for online check-in passengers.  

5. For the convenience of passengers, the check-in officer will weigh the baggage at the check-in counter to determine if the baggage meets the requirements. If it exceeds 20 Kg, passengers are charged an additional fee according to Lion Air Group rules so that luggage can carry out as checked baggage.  

6. Passengers are not allowed to carry dangerous goods.

7. When at the check-in counter, please make sure the baggage is specially marked (labeled) according to the exact flight and destination data. The baggage receipt number and checked baggage must be the same.

8. Please pay attention to the provisions:

a) Check-in counter system closes 30 minutes before departure

b) The waiting room system closes 10 minutes before departure

9. Download and fill in the conditions in the PeduliLindungi application

10. All flight crew and passengers require to wear masks, to maintain the cleanliness of the aircraft. In addition, prepare a spare mask and hand sanitizer.

 

Use of mobile phones and other electronic devices, namely:

1. It is forbidden to carry electronic devices that emit steam or smoke.

2. It is forbidden to bring laptops of Apple product type MacBook Pro 15 inches produced in 2015, which are market period September 2015 to February 2017 as checked/registered baggage and cargo. The 2015 MacBook Pro (Retina 15-Inch) product has marketed from September 2015 to February 2017.

3. As per the rules, the battery charger (power bank) has the capacity of power:

a. maximum of 100 Wh or 20,000 mAh may only be brought into the cabin and has prohibited from entering checked baggage.

b. 100-160 Wh or 20,000-32,000 mAh must have approval from Lion Air.

c. more than 160 Wh has been prohibited from entering the aircraft.

4. Not used during aircraft takeoff, landing, or moving in parking takeoff (apron), taxiway (taxiway), and runway (runway).

5. Not used when in the aisle, emergency window seats, and exits on the plane.

6. Not cause damage to the facility or cause injury to oneself, other passengers, and crew on duty on board.

7. Does not interfere with the comfort of other passengers, for example: blocking the seating distance at the front of the seat.
