ATR 72 Aircraft: Memorable, Safe and Enjoyable Experience

Wings Air prepares a fleet of atr 72-500 or ATR 72-600 propellers, with a seating capacity of 72 economy class aircraft with a configuration (layout) of 2-2.

The ATR 72 is a technologically advanced aircraft with a more pronounced level of comfort because the cabin interior is designed more futuristic, so passengers can work during the flight or relax while enjoying the trip by looking at the outside view because the aircraft is able to fly low.

Fresh air quality is continuously supplied with a high level of cabin air volume renewal, so that the air cycle is guaranteed clean. The airflow from above (cabin ceiling) moves one way down (floor), which minimizes front and rear air movement in the cab (blown transversally and vertically). Air will be sucked into the floor area through the panel (floor panel level) according to the process on the air pressure flow valve (pressurization outflow valves operation).

The air volume of approximately 95 cubic meters in the cabin will always be updated within 5 to 7 minutes by relying on 2 ECS operative packs mechanisms, 2 Recirculation and Extraction Syatem (by Environment Control System (ECS)) that ensures the air in the cabin remains fresh.

Wings Air maximizes various measures during the pandemic alert period, including regulating the entry and exit of passengers from aircraft in sequence to minimize overcrowding. On an ATR plane, get up and down from the back door. This minimizes face-to-face interaction between passengers. The galley at the rear also minimizes face-to-face interaction between passengers and cabin crew.

To maintain flight health and safety, Wings Air has also improved the sterilization phase of the entire fleet.  The aircraft cleaning process is carried out by a team of technicians and aircraft interior exterior cleaning (AIEC), including Aircraft Interior Cleaning (cleaning the inside of the aircraft) and Aircraft Exterior Cleaning (cleaning the outside of the aircraft).

The special increased flying frequency (plus) from Ternate is part of the effort to ensure that "flying is safe", because the implementation of the flight is carried out as standard operating procedures while putting forward aspects of safety, safety (safety first) and health protocol guidelines.

Ease of Resuming Flights

Wings Air is optimistic that the trend of traveling by airplane in both cities will again grow, so that flight services will adjust according to market demand, namely by increasing or increasing the frequency of flying.

Wings Air always conducts market evaluations including the routes flown. If it has positive potential, it will fly back on domestic routes gradually.

The addition of the flying frequency of Ternate – Morotai – Ternate and Ternate – Labuha – Ternate routes re-established Wings Air as the only airline serving scheduled flights in the destination city (Intra-North Maluku).

The route between maluku region is expected to answer the demand for air transportation services market in both cities, will further increase the interest of people to travel by plane for direct flights (point to point) in the Maluku Islands.

Passengers to and from Morotai and Labuha have the opportunity to continue their flight (connecting flight) with Lion Air Group (Lion Air, Wings Air and Batik Air) to other cities through Sultan Babullah Airport.

Flights to North Maluku include Labuha, Buli and Morotai. In addition, you can continue flying to Manado, Kao-Tobelo, Naha-Tahuna, Miangas, Melonguane, Gorontalo, Luwuk, Palu, Toli-Toli, Buol, Makassar, Kendari, Wangi-Wangi, Balikpapan, Banjarmasin, Batulicin, Kotabaru, Tarakan, Samarinda, Palangkaraya, Surabaya, Semarang, Jakarta, Yogyakarta Kulonprogo, Yogyakarta Adisutjipto, Bandung, Palembang, Batam, Medan-Kualanamu, Padang, Pekanbaru, Denapsar, Lombok, Bima, Labuan Bajo, Maumere, Kupang, Waingapu, Atambua, Tambolaka, Rote and other cities.

The main hope of increasing the frequency of flying in the North Maluku sector is able to help and contribute positively to regional development in line with government programs to support the acceleration of economic recovery.

Wings Air would like to thank you for the cooperation and coordination from local governments, regulators, airport managers, air traffic controllers, employees and crew as well as various other relevant parties in supporting operations so that the addition of the frequency of ternate return flights to Morotai and Labuha can be carried out and run smoothly according to standard operational procedures.
