The operation of the return flight is expected to answer the market demand for air transportation services in three cities or regions (Banjarmasin - Batulicin - Makassar), will further increase the interest of people to travel by plane, as well as a convincing part that flying is safe, because the implementation of the flight is carried out as the guidelines of health protocols and prioritize safety and security factors.

In line with efforts to provide the best experience for passengers when flying, Wings Air has prepared a fleet of propeller types of ATR 72-500 or ATR 72-600 aircraft, seated with 72 economy class seats with a layout of 2-2.

The ATR 72 is a state-of-the-art aircraft with a higher level of comfort because the cabin interior is designed more futuristic, so passengers can relax while in the cabin while enjoying the ride by looking at the outside view because the plane is able to fly low. In addition, passengers can also work during the flight.

Fresh air quality is continuously supplied with a high level of cabin air volume update, so that the air cycle is guaranteed clean. The airflow from above (cabin ceiling) moves one way down (floor), which minimizes the movement of air forwards and backwards in the cab (blown transversally and vertically). Air will be sucked into the floor area through floor panel level according to the process in the air pressure flow valve (pressurization outflow valves operation).

The volume of approximately 95 cubic meters of air in the cabin will always be updated within 5 to 7 minutes by relying on 2 mechanisms of ECS packs Operative, 2 pieces of Recirculation and Extraction Syatem (by Environment Control System (ECS)) that ensure the air in the cabin remains fresh.

Wings Air maximizes various measures during the pandemic alert period, including arranging the process of entering and exiting passengers from aircraft sequentially to minimize overcrowding. On an ATR plane, up and down from the back door.

This minimizes face-to-face interaction between passengers. The galley area located at the back also minimizes face-to-face interaction between passengers and cabin crew.

To maintain aviation health and safety, Wings Air has also improved the sterilization phase of the entire fleet. The aircraft cleaning process is carried out by a team of technicians and aircraft interior exterior cleaning (AIEC), including Aircraft Interior Cleaning (cleaning the inside of the aircraft) and Aircraft Exterior Cleaning (cleaning the outside of the aircraft).

Connections to Other Cities Are Getting Wider

Wings Air is optimistic, the availability of Banjarmasin – Batulicin – Makassar – Batulicin – Banjarmasin flights with the right schedule is considered to be able to help and contribute positively in regional development in line with government programs.

The route creates more open "intra-Kalimantan and South Sulawesi" connectivity while also being able to provide the option of flying domestically (Indonesia) with interconnected flights.

From Syamsudin Noor International Airport, passengers have the opportunity to continue air travel directly and connected to Jakarta - Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Balikpapan, Kotabaru, Sampit, Pontianak, Makassar, Manado, Sorong, Ambon, Semarang, Yogyakarta Kulonprogo, Surabaya, Denpasar, Lombok, Kupang, Palembang, Batam, Padang, Pekanbaru, Medan and other cities.
