M A N A D O – January 4th, 2021. Lion Air (JT Flight Code) member of Lion Air Group releases the latest information, that January 11, 2021 will serve on a new network of scheduled passenger flights from Sam Ratulangi International Airport, Manado, North Sulawesi (MDC) to Mimika Regency, Papua via Mozes Kilangin International Airport, Timika (TIM).
For the initial stage, Lion Air plans to operate a daily regular flight service, frequency 7 (seven) times a week or once daily. Lion Air flight JT-700 has a scheduled departure from Sam Ratulangi International Airport at 09.00 WITA (Central Indonesia Time, GMT+ 08) and scheduled to arrive at Mozes Kilangin International Airport at 12:35 WIT (Eastern Indonesia Time, GMT+ 09).
For the reverse flight, Lion Air still serves on the same day. Lion Air flight JT-701 will air from Mozes Kilangin International Airport at 13.20 WIT and is expected to land at Sam Ratulangi International Airport at 14:45 WIB.

In the second semester of 2020, Lion Air again flew the route of Bandung, West Java through Husein Sastranegara International Airport (BDO) from Medan, Palembang, Pekanbaru, Banjarmasin, Balikpapan, Makassar and Denpasar, Balikpapan – Berau – Balikpapan and Surabaya – Ternate – Surabaya. Hopefully in the future, Lion Air will continue to open other routes gradually.

To add to the flying experience for passengers in the inaugural flight plan, Lion Air prepares the latest generation fleet of Boeing 737-800NG single aisle 3-3 seat layouts with a capacity of 189 economy class and Boeing 737-900ER (215 economy class seats).

Well Maintained Air System
