J A K A R T A – 17 August 2020. Wings Air (IW Flight Code) member of Lion Air Group delivers on the performance of air circulation throughout the fleet working well and maximal (assuring confidence in the ATR cabin). Continuous fresh air quality is supplied with a high rate of renewal of cabin air volume, so the air cycle is guaranteed to be clean.

Wings Air is very focused on the health of employees and passengers, in accordance with the effort to ensure the safety and security aspect of aviation (safety first).

Wings Air has updated the aircraft performance in accordance with the recommendation of ATR aircraft manufacturer, and following the references of the World Health Organization, regulators and national health authorities and based on strict rules and guidelines, to ensure safe return of air travel.

Wings Air maximizes various steps to prevent the further deployment of the Covid-19, including arranging the passengers ' entry and exit from the aircraft in order to minimize congestion On ATR aircraft, go up and down from the back door. This will minimize the face-to-face interaction between the passengers.

The kitchen Area (galley) located on the back also minimizes the face-to-side interaction between the passenger and the cabin crew.

Air Volume approximately 95 cubic meters in the cabin will always be updated within 5 to 7 minutes using the 2 pieces of ECS packs Operative, 2 recirculation and Extraction Syatem (by Environment Control System (ECS)) that ensure the air in the cabin remains fresh.

Air originating from outside the plane will be collected at the bottom of the floor, then distributed to the main airlines and air conditioners in the overhead compartment (personal kolowa ventilation) along the cab and the steering chamber (cockpit)

Aerial flow from above (cab ceiling) moving one way down (floor), minimizes the movement of air forward and rear direction in the cab (blown transversally and vertically). The air will be sucked into the floor area through the panels (floor panel level) According to the process on the air pressure flow valve (pressurization outflow valves operation).

In order to maintain the health and safety of aviation, Wings Air has also increased the sterilization phase of the entire fleet. The process of cleaning the aircraft is done by the engineering team and aircraft interior cleaning (AIEC), include Aircraft Interior Cleaning (cleaning the inside of the aircraft) and Aircraft Exterior Cleaning (cleaning the exterior of the aircraft), with a working average of 60-120 minutes.

Routine cleaning and sterilization range is continuously improved in every detail of the aircraft, include steering room, kitchen, cabin baggage (compartement), cabin wall, crew seat and passenger, replacement of head cover in seat, cargo area (front and rear), door and window planes, carpet floor, wide exterior aircraft, stairs to the aircraft and other.

Sterilization intensity is continuously executed and comprehensive surveillance. Periodic spraying of liquid-use germ (disinfectant spray) in accordance with the applicable procedures, before the passenger process enters the plane (boarding) and when the aircraft finishes having rotation (movements).

Wings Air is the largest airline operating 66 aircraft consisting of 19 ATR 72-500 and 47 ATR 72-600. In the flight implementation, Wings Air operates based on the standard operational procedures (SOP) as well as actively monitoring the evolution of the alert of the time of the Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) in the entire network of operated routes.

ATR Wings Air aircraft is known to be more economical and supports CO2 or environmentally friendly emissions. With this operation, Wings Air continues to serve as a feeder can re-accommodate people on the move or transporting people in and out of the district level or district, including carrying cargo or logistics, so that connectivity is maintained and increasingly connected (more connected place).
