Lion Air Group Explanation About Airline Ticket Pricing on Domestic Scheduled Passenger Flights

J A K A R T A – 24 Juni 2020. Lion Air (JT code flight), Wings Air (IW code flight), Batik Air (ID code flight), member of Lion Air Group provides information about determining the tariff or sale price of passenger air tickets on the schedule of economy class on domestic commercial air transport services.

Lion Air Group continues to sell air ticket prices still and in accordance with the rules of the applicable regulator namely decree of the Minister of Transportation number 106 year 2019 about the tariff of passengers on the service of economy class of domestic trade air freight ("KM 106/2019"), in this case do not exceed the upper limit tariff provisions (TBA) and do not exceed the lower limit rate (TBB).

In the determination of the selling price of domestic economy class air tickets, Lion Air Group never cooperate and determine with other parties (outside the company). For the sale price of air tickets now is the implementation of merging several components into the unity of the sale price of flights.

Component selling price one way air tickets for direct flights (non-stop), consist of:

  • Air freight Tariff (fluctuation in the upper limit tariff corridor and lower limit tariff),
  • Tax (Government tax) 10% of the air freight rate,
  • The compulsory insurance fee for IWJR (Iuran Wajib Jasa Raharja).
  • Passenger Service Charge (PSC) or airport tax, the magnitude varies by airport in each city. For information, starting from 1 March 2018, the latest Air passenger service (PJP2U) or PSC is included in the fare component. Accordingly, if any changes to the PSC rate will affect the price of the ticket.
  • Surcharge (If any).
