This November, Lion Air Success to held Inaugural Flight of Umrah From Several Cities in Indonesia

Jakarta, November 29, 2017 – On November 2017, Lion Air air airlines success to made to held inaugural flight of umrah that dispatched a number of Umrah’s pilgrims to the Holy Land from 9 cities in Indonesia. Some of the cities are Banjarmasin, Surabaya, Palembang, Padang, Balikpapan, Solo, Banda Aceh, Makassar, and Jakarta.

Umrah flights this time is also equipped with the cooperation between the Lion Air with some travel agencies Umrah who play an important role in bringing pilgrims so as to achieve full load factor (load factor) with a percentage of 90% to 100% until February 2018 and will be extended to the month of Ramadan 2018.

In its flight service to the Holy Land, Lion Air operates its newest fleet of Boeing 737 MAX 8 which can carry around 175 pilgrims and will be in transit for refueling in Trivandrum, India for 30 minutes and pilgrims do not have to go down for it. In addition to Boeing 737 MAX 8, Lion Air also operates another fleet that can carry around 437 pilgrims with Airbus A330-300. Flight using Airbus A330-300 is a direct flight without stops.
The flight to the holy land is divided into two destinations namely Jeddah and Medina, in the journey of pilgrims will get 2 meals and drink for one trip.

Because during this departure to the Holy Land is done from a particular city even from neighboring countries. Rama added, at the end of October last year also has done the first flight to Medina from Pekanbaru, and December 2017 will be made the first flight from Bandung to Medina. So total there are 11 cities that will become the center of Umrah's departure by Lion Air.
