Inauguration of Angkasa Training Center (ATC) Operated By Airbus Training Organization (ATO)

Tangerang, December 10, 2015 

Lion Air Group that houses Indonesian airlines such as Lion Air, Batik Air and Wings Air today officially cooperating for pilot training, operational simulator, training programs, and safety management system. The training center owned Lion Air Group, namely Angkasa Training Center, previously called Lion Training Center with a holding company ATO (Airbus Training Organization) targets within a period of 6 months to be able to get a certificate Airbus Approved Training Organization, DGCA Indonesia Approve and EASA (Europe Aviation safety Agency).

Cooperation between the Angkasa Training Center with ATO (Airbus Training Organization) is the first cooperation conducted in Indonesia. ATO currently has branches in France, the United States, India, China, and Dubai.

"This partnership is believed and expected to improve quality of the training continuously and the results can be felt and used by our customers to enjoy the services we provide to travel the air," said Edward Sirait, President Director of Lion Air Group. 

As we know that Lion Air and Batik Air are the airlines using Airbus aircraft in their operational. Since 2014 Lion Air Group and passengers have enjoyed flying with this French-made aircraft.

Angkasa Training Center itself is a training center belonging to Lion Air Group was establish in 2005 the course was set up to educate and train the ground crew to the flight crew that is shaded by Lion Air Group.
