Fly From Surabaya To Kuala Lumpur With Lion Air

Surabaya, February 25, 2017 - Lion Air coming back with another expansion by opening the new flights from Solo via International Airport Adi Soemarmo. This time, Lion Air will serve direct international flight to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This flights route will be effective as of February 25, 2017, and the airlines with red lion's head logo will fly every day with the following schedule,

  JT 168 // KUALA LUMPUR (STD 07.30) – SURABAYA (STA 09.15)
  JT 169 // SURABAYA (STD 10.00) – KUALA LUMPUR (STA 13.45) 

"The opening of the International route is the development of Lion Air ‘s network connectivity in Surabaya. As one of the hubs for Lion Air, opening international routes from Juanda International Airport is important for the sake of Surabaya and surrounding communities, "said Edward Sirait, President Director of Lion Air Group.

Edward added with the opening of a route to Kuala Lumpur, now Surabaya residents can enjoy international travel easily, so as to reduce dependence to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta.

With flights from Solo to Kuala Lumpur, people can also continue their international trips to another countries such as Singapore, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Australia, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, China, and India from Kuala Lumpur by Malindo Air. This also applies to the contrary, with the attraction of Surabaya which has the charm of travel to Indonesian culture, would potentially bring foreign tourists to come, so it can continue to support the advancement of tourism in Indonesia with easy access provided.
