Wings Air Refine Access in Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi

Jakarta, July 25, 2017 - One of the airlines under Lion Air Group, Wings Air opens its new access to a number of domestic routes in Indonesia. Some destinations to be flown by Wings Air are spread over several islands such as Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi. As of July 25, 2017, the airline that operates from 2003 will connect Tanjung Pinang City through Raja Haji Fisabilillah International Airport to Kualanamu International Airport and return. On the same date Wings Air also opened a route from Palu City through Mutiara SIS Al-Jufrie Airport to Tarakan via Juwata International Airport. Not only that, the airline users ATR 72-500 / 600 also now serve flights from Banjarmasin to Palangkaraya and back.

Wings Will serve several new flight routes with a one-time flight schedule per day using ATR 72-500 / 600 type aircraft that can accommodate customers reaching 72 people.

Andy added that the route that opened on July 25, 2017 is one of Wings Air's expansion plans to re-open its new destinations in several cities such as Surabaya, Jember, Batam, Kendari, Wakatobi, Mamuju, Ujung Pandang, Gorontalo, Pekanbaru, Dumai, Saumlaki, Ambon, Pontianak, Ketapang, and Sampit. These areas will soon be linked by Wings Air by the end of July and the beginning of August 2017.
 
"Wings Air believes its presence in several destinations will be closer to the customers in facilitating and providing the best facilities in reaching the route targeted by the passengers," lid Andy.
 
Until now, Wings Air has flown to more than 90 domestic destinations in Indonesia by operating 52 units of ATR 72-500 / 600 aircraft fleet whose frequency reaches more than 300 flights per day.
